About Twin Buttes Reservoir

Twin Buttes Reservoir is a U.S. Bureau of Reclamation lake about 6 miles southwest of San Angelo, completed in 1963. Its dam is unusual: it holds back the Middle and South Concho rivers separately, with a channel linking the two pools. Lake Nasworthy is directly downstream.
