About Caddo Lake
Caddo Lake is a large lake and cypress wetland on the Texas-Louisiana border, in Harrison and Marion counties and Caddo Parish. It is one of the few natural lakes in Texas, though a dam on the Louisiana side now holds its level. The wetland is internationally protected under the Ramsar Convention, and Lake O’ the Pines is upstream on Big Cypress Bayou.
