About Lake Kemp
Lake Kemp is a large reservoir on the Wichita River in Baylor County, built in 1923. It is owned by the City of Wichita Falls and the Wichita County Water Improvement District for water supply, irrigation and flood control. The Wichita River eventually joins the Red River above Lake Texoma.
